Word Of the Head Physics
Praise be to God, who has provided us with the paths of knowledge and knowledge, and may peace and blessings be upon the one who guided us to seek useful knowledge, our Master Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. It is a matter of pride and honor for me that we all agree to delve into the world of physics and its impact on the progress of science, which is one of the first scientific foundations that has contributed to the development of human creativity and its growth within the theories and principles of physics to explain all the tiny phenomena and even the large ones, starting with the atom and its components and what happens inside. The human body is within the field of medical physics and physical chemistry, ending with changes in the layers of the Earth, the atmosphere, the sun, the moon, and all other planets.
Physics has influenced the lives of millions of people throughout the ages. We are witnessing tremendous development in electronics, communications, computers, renewable energy, materials science, and nanotechnology, to name a few. Physical concepts and laws were behind it, so physics left a prominent mark on modern development and a distinguished place in the history of human thought. It has credit after God in developing and advancing human civilizations in all aspects, and few realize that. We cannot hide or ignore the decisive impact and conclusive evidence it provided. Physics is related to many sciences, such as philosophy, mathematics, chemistry, biology, and geology. Physics contributed to the development of these sciences without the slightest doubt. Indeed, whoever said that “physics is the mother of sciences” is the one from which the rest of the sciences were born.

Achieving a high level of distinguished performance in education and scientific research to achieve the college’s mission and align with the future vision of the university, by providing education that keeps pace with the requirements of the present and the future and produces distinguished generations capable of creativity, innovation, invention, and competition locally and internationally.

Providing good educational programs and distinguished research services to complete efficient scientific research continuously improves the educational and research process and serves students to achieve the college’s mission.
Objectives
1. Developing educational programs in light of academic standards and improving the level of graduates in the department by providing a high level of education and teaching for the undergraduate and graduate levels and developing the necessary research laboratories for this.
2. Preparing national cadres equipped with basic physical knowledge who contribute to community service in the fields of education and industry.
3. Motivating students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels to pursue scientific research and link it to societal issues.
4. Develop programs to motivate the distinguished, encourage students to innovate, and create mechanisms to develop the competitive capabilities of graduates.
5. Developing the educational process for postgraduate studies in the department.
