We had the privilege of being invited by Dr. Ahmed Bayoud, the Director of Al-Zad Al-Sharqi Company, which serves as the agent for Vaxxinova. The event was attended by the company's regional representative for the Middle East and North Africa, Dr. Hatem, and Dr. Hossam Al-Bakri, the director of the company's laboratory in the Kingdom of Jordan. In addition to postgraduate students from the Department of Poultry Diseases, many veterinarians and owners of poultry and veterinary medicine companies were also present. Dr. Hatem provided a comprehensive overview of the company and its global branches, while Dr. Hossam delivered a lecture on viral diseases that affect poultry and their prevalence in the Arab world. The event concluded with a thorough examination of significant viral diseases, including Newcastle disease and avian influenza. These diseases were dissected in detail, providing valuable insights and commentary. The role of adenovirus in the context of these diseases was also discussed, offering interpretation and additional comments on its involvement.
