Description
This program provides advanced knowledge about the environment and marine biodiversity and how to exploit it in the research fields.
Objectives
· Definition of marine biodiversity in marine ecosystems.· Order to know the threats and risks to which marine ecosystems are exposed.· Sustainable development in the field of marine sciences.· Capacity building in the field of marine sciences.
Outcomes
Students when obtained their master degree in marine science can:· Identify the species of marine science. · Identify the threats and risks that impact on the marine ecosystems.
Certificate Rewarded
Master's degree in Marine Sciences (MSc)
Entry Reuirements
Obtaining a bachelor's degree in zoology or related fields.
Passing a differentiation exam for applicants in case the number of applicants is greater than the capacity of the division.
Study Plan
The Master in Marine Sciences prepares students to qualify for Master in Marine Sciences. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.
It comprises 6 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 30 units, which include 6 units of general subjects, and 9 major units, 11 of elective units. In addition to a final project in the student's major.
