Description

The Master's Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a program that enables pharmacists to acquire specialized pharmaceutical skills and information on drug design and manufacturing using modern scientific methods, as well as to enhance and provide research and development centers with pharmacists with distinct research orientations based on modern scientific foundations.

Objectives

  • Provide the students with an advanced background in modern pharmaceutics with its vast applications in the field of pharmaceutical science.
  • Learning new skills in hospital pharmacy, pharmacy practice, and pharmaceutical care.
  •  Provide the students with the advanced techniques of conducting state-of-the-art research projects, in addition to the skills of data interpretation and problem-solving.

Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, the graduate will be able to develop and integrate advanced knowledge in the field of pharmaceutics and specialized research, including drug design, pharmaceutical analysis, and drug delivery methods within the body, in addition to developing self-learning skills, the ability to solve problems and analyze data related to the field independently and professionally in line with With the professional and research ethics required in the field for a pharmacist.

  • The applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical sciences with a grade not less than good.
  • A comparison exam is held for applicants.
  • The department decides its capacity for students according to the available resources
