The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Tripoli held a major celebration on the occasion of the International Day of Nursing in Tripoli, at Al-Idriasi  hall at the Faculty of Medicine Tripoli. The celebration was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Deputy to the president for the Faculty of Medicine and the Registrar of the University along with the person in charge of the clinical training at Imitigha hospital.

In addition to many university professors and students interested in this aspect. The ceremony witnessed many different speeches by the Dean of the Nursing Faculty, the Student Union of the Faculty of Nursing, members of the faculty and the Undersecretary of the medical facultys. The ceremony included many different sections, including the presentation of a documentary about Faculty of Nursing at the University of Tripoli and its role in the development of the health field in Libya. On the sidelines of this celebration, an introductory exhibition on the departments of the Faculty of Nursing was presented, which includes the nursing basics, surgery, intensive care unit.  general nursing and midwifery and new born babies.
