Conclusion of the Fourth Geographical Conference
At the Chemistry Department Theater, the 4th Geographical Conference for 2018, on the spatial information technology, organized by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tripoli, under the theme "The Role of Spatial Information Technology in Achieving Development and Future Aspirations", concluded its sessions today.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Nabil Al-Natah, President of Tripoli University, the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Ayman Al-Tarhouni, the Under-Secretary for Human Sciences, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Fayed, and a number of deans and faculty members.
The final program included presenting working papers on spatial information technology and geographical information systems, presented by professors and faculty members from various Libyan universities. In addition, certificates of appreciation and shields were distributed among the participants and those who submitted advanced scientific research papers during the conference, amounting to 30 researches from various Libyan universities and research centers.
The final speech of the conference was delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Abu Fayed. Dr. Naji Al-Zanati presented the final recommendations of the 4th Geographical Conference lasting for three days. Along with the conference, an exhibition of public institutions and state institutions that use these technologies was, also, arranged.
