First rank and gold medal for the Libyan "ms. Hameda Saqr"
The artist, Hamida Saqr, a faculty member at the Faculty of Arts and Media at the University of Tripoli, who was sponsored to study in Italy to prepare her doctorate, received the first prize and the gold medal at the Belgium International Expo for the Gold Medal, held in Belgium, The exhibition was attended by artists from Libya, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Ireland, Belgium, Russia, Japan, Canada, Jordan, Argentina, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the Netherlands. At the closing ceremony of the exhibition, the first prize was awarded to the Libyan Artist Ms. Hameda Saqar, the second prize to the Italian artist Maura Salsi and the third prize to the Italian artist Roberta Pedzari in the presence of the mayor of Spa in Belgium and the mayor of Gubbio, Ital along with a group of artists and those interested in culture and the arts. The Libyan Artist Ms. Hameda Saqar expressed her happiness over this new coronation, and commented on this occasion, saying: "I give this appreciation to those who deserve appreciation to every Libyan patriot who has a patriotic spirit and every Libyan gave birth to every son/daughter faithful to his/her parents and the homeland. I give it to every citizen who did not contribute to the hurt the homeland and to my Libya the civilization).
